Though the album portrays the vastness of the ocean, it is gentle at times. “A Squid and Her Eggs” is a great example of how intimate Chypho’s songs can be. Chypho is extremely adept at illustrating scenes through his music. His works are cohesive collections of stories — episodes if you will — that convey specific ideas while leaving room for interpretation.
